JASON WRIGHT BASKETBALL CLINIC-Monday, August 8th, 2011 at Maui High School Gym from 6:00pm-9 :00pm On Line registration will start on Sunday, June 19th, 2011 at 9:00am and will end on Sunday, July 31st, 2011 at 9:00am. Registration Notice: Your registration is not deemed complete unless payment has been processed. Your cancelled check is your receipt. MAIL YOUR REGISTRATION FORM WITH YOUR PAYMENT OF $20.00 TO Maui NJB UpCountry Hoops, PO BOX 1655, Makawao HI 96768. The basketball clinic is limited to 60 players in each group. Group A: Novice (Grades 2-4): 6:00 to 7:30pm, Group B: Intermediate (Grades 5-6): 6:00 to 7:30pm, Group C: Advanced (Grades 7-HS): 7:30 to 9:00pm Contact Ralph Norman at 281-5617 for any questions. 2012 Spring League Registration is NOW OPEN!!!!

MANDATORY COACHES MEETING: Sunday, March 4th, 2012 4:00 pm @ King Kekaulike High School Cafeteria which is located across the gymnasium. Parking will be available in the back parking lot. Entrance is from Haleakala Highway. This meeting is for all head and assistant coaches and parents who will be assisting with team management.

Players will be put on teams according to the postmark date on the envelope. Players will be put on a standby list if payment is postmarked after Sunday, February 19th, 2012. Players registering on there clinic day will be assessed a $5.00 late registration fee. Only players attending the clinic will be placed on a team. All no shows and late registrants will be placed on a team on space availability. (Players are not to bring their basketball to the clinic). THE AMOUNT OF TEAMS WILL BE DETERMINED ON THE AMOUNT OF COACHES SIGNED UP FOR EACH DIVISION.

Keiki Division Grades 1st and 2nd: NO FUNDAMENTAL CLINIC
Coaches will pick their players at the coaches meeting. Players will be notified by their coaches by Sunday, March 11th, 2012.
All-Star Division Grades 3rd, 4th and 5th: March 24th, Saturday 9:00 am - 11:30 am (Tentative Time) (Players are not to bring their basketballs to the clinic)
All-Net Division Grades 6th, 7th, and 8th: March 24th, Saturday 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm (Tentative Time) (Players are not to bring their basketballs to the clinic)

Fundamental and Development Program
To us, basketball is still a game, played for pleasure and fun by many young and adult athletes.. Youth sports however, can be used to nurture and motivate young people to gain the discipline, perseverance, character and teamwork abilities, that will take our young children who play it, a long way in fulfilling what they want their lives to be.
Coaches Corner
National Junior Basketball League wants to make your experience as a coach a success no matter if you have ever coached before or not. If you have not, you have many new and wonderful experiences awaiting you. If you have, we want to have the opportunity to make your coaching with us a great experience.
Basketball is a simple game: It's the coaches that make it complex. We are teachers of basketball. The basketball court is an extension of the player's life. Make basketball fun for everyone.

2012 NJB Spring Season
Season will run from Monday, March 26th, 2012 - Thursday, June 14th, 2012.
Practice Days and Sites
All-Net Division (6th-8th Graders) : Paia Gymnasium and Outside BB Courts, Monday-Friday (except Wed & Sat) 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Teams can only practice 2 times a week at 1 1/2 hours each practice day.
All-Star Division (3rd-5th Graders) : Kula and Haliimaile Gymnasium, Monday-Friday (except Wed & Sat) 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Teams can only practice 2 times a week at 1 1/2 hours each practice day.
Keiki Division (1st and 2nd Graders): King Kekaulike High School Outside BB Courts, Monday-Friday (except Wed & Sat) 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Teams can only practice 2 times a week at 1 1/2 hours each practice day.
Game Days and Sites
